If you have already called our first set of key Congresspersons about Pastor Steven, please call or write to this new group as well. It is urgent that we keep the momentum going to keep him safe. All of the U.S. Representatives in this list are committed to human rights and the rights of immigrants, and many are members of the Hispanic Caucus, Black Caucus, or Human Rights Caucus. Again, communications are tough with covid-19 problems. However, last week your voices had huge impact. Leaving voice mail is good, and so are email or written letters. The goal is to show our national leadership that we, the grassroots, have had enough of the senseless abuse of asylum seekers, and that we will not stand for the killing of Pastor Steven.
